 1st Anniversary

When we first planned for a newsletter, the goal was obviously to expand our reach.  We believe there are many people outside the campus grounds who are interested in what is happening at the Faculty of Science.  By offering a newsletter to an extended audience, we are expanding the Faculty’s network to various subsets of the external community, including potential partners and prospective students.

The newsletter is also a way to strengthen the ties between the Faculty and a given community.  With a regular dose of Faculty-news and information, we are offering the readers another platform to reach us and connect.  For fellow alumni and retirees, our newsletter will also help preserve their relationship with the Faculty.

Since its inaugural issue in 2017,  has shared the vibrant activities at the Faculty of Science, be it on research and teaching, as well as on communal activities which touched lives.  We bring the news to the UM community, collaborators, visitors, and even budding scientists at the matriculation colleges.  Our door is always opened to share what the Faculty of Science has to offer.

We hope you have enjoyed reading our newsletter and we will continue to share with you more happenings at the Faculty of Science.  Happy reading!
